Oral Thrush

Oral thrush is a fungal infection caused by Candida yeast that develops
in the mouth, throat, or esophagus, resulting in creamy white lesions on
the tongue, inner cheeks, or roof of the mouth. It's common in infants,
older adults, and those with weakened immune systems, and treatment
usually involves antifungal medications prescribed by a healthcare
professional.
